Study At BISU

Visa

     1.Entry Visa

International students should hold valid passports and X1 visas (for students who study more than one semester) or X2 visas (for students who study only one semester) for entry. Those who hold other types of visas should get them changed into student visas.

     2.Residence Permit (RP in short)

The X1 visa holder should apply for Residence Permit within 30 days upon entry into China (otherwise he/she will be responsible for all the consequences, including the fine.) and have the following documents/certificates ready for such application:

     - Health Certificate issued by Beijing International Travel Healthcare Center

-Visa or Residence Permit Application Form provided by ISO of BISU

     - Admission Notice of BISU and International Student Visa Application for Study in China (JW201/202 form)

     - Valid passport

     - One passport size (2-inch) photo (full-face, bareheaded, against white background)

    - Registration Form for Temporary Residence issued by the local police station. Students who live in the Foreign Student Dormitory Building may get this form at the front desk of the dorm building.

   - Students that have transferred to BISU from another university are required to present either the Transfer Certificate or the Graduation Certificate issued by that previous university.

      3. Others

All certificates and documents, such as the visa and certificates issued to you by ISO brook no alteration or changes or otherwise damage. Those who fail to obey this rule will be penalized and fined. International students’ family members are usually discouraged from accompanying students studying at the university. In special cases, they are only granted to stay with the students with tourist visas.
